Starts his career in 1981 as 1st AC with Maurizio Zaccaro (Italian Director) and developes his skills for 7 years with Ermanno Olmi at Ermanno's "IPOTESI CINEMA" lab.

Collaborates with him on several documentary and film projects.

He was 1st AC on "LUNGA VITA ALLA SIGNORA" (1987 - Winner of the Silver Lion at Venice Film Festival). 

In 1988 Oreste moves to Rome working in the Cinema domain (working among others with Nanni Loy and Alessandro Benvenuti).

In2003 he starts working  10 years as DOP for NONSOLOMODA (Italian Fashion 16mm TV show) and DRIVE IN (Italian comic TV show).
